In order to keep our rates as low and competitive as possible, we do not build a ‘currency fluctuation allowance’ into our tour fees. However as currencies and fuel costs do change constantly around the world, it may be necessary for us to increase tour fees at any time before departure, providing there are exceptional cost increases beyond our control.
To reserve your place on a journey, we require a deposit of US$1,000 per person, payable by personal check, VISA, AMEX or MasterCard. Checks should be made payable to ‘K. Benn Travel’. The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior to departure. To secure your reservation you must complete in full and return to our office, a Reservation Form and the signed Risks, Retailer Responsibility and Acknowledgement of Risk and Release Form at the time of booking, in order to confirm that you have read and agreed to those terms. If you prefer single accommodations you will be requested to pay the Single Supplement.


Oasis Inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, at any time prior to departure. In such a case, refund of any payments received shall constitute full settlement. Oasis Inc. and K. Benn Travel are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the trip such as non-refundable, advance-purchase air tickets, medical expenses, passport fees etc.

Deposits and any payments are fully refundable if written notice is received by K. Benn Travel more than 91 days before the start of the journey less a US$200 per person administration fee. Cancellations received between 90 and 61 days before the first day of the journey will forfeit the deposit of US$1,000. Cancellations received within 60 days of the first day of the journey are subject to full forfeiture of all money paid. Exceptions to this cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including personal emergencies, illness, or weather. No refunds will be made for any part of the journey in which participants do not participate.


K. Benn Travel, Oasis’ exclusive administrative operator, will be happy to provide you with air reservations and tickets corresponding to your chosen journey. It is strongly encouraged to book early to ensure the desired routings and departure times.


We strongly recommend the purchase of supplementary medical and cancellation insurances. K. Benn Travel has negotiated a policy underwritten by RBC Insurance. The per person premiums are based on the length and cost of the journey, as well as the age of the participant so please phone us to calculate your personal premium. These insurance premiums are non-refundable and must be paid with the trip deposit or when final balance is due. Please review your personal coverage and confirm with your insurer that you are adequately covered for any eventuality.


By completing the Reservation Form and forwarding the deposit for passage, you certify that you do not have any physical or other conditions or disability that would impede or create a hazard for you or other travelers.


Our journeys entail risks beyond those encountered at home. Our goal is to effortlessly take care of all the details to ensure a great travel experience. In return, we count on our travelers to be in good physical shape, to read our pre-departure ‘Notes For Travelers’ outlining all the things you need to know before leaving home including clothing, medical requirements, culture-specific etiquette, and currency issues etc. It is important to appreciate that in many countries, local living standards and practices, services and accommodations may differ from those in North America and Europe – often in delightful and rewarding ways – and to understand the fact that a road less traveled means a more unpredictable and more rewarding adventure.
